Polymeric Insulators
Features :
- Specially Designed
Polymeric Material Used in these insulators
have a self-cleaning property, achieved
by molecular migration making it possible
to maintain anti-tracking performance over
an extended period.
- These composite
insulators are practically unbreakable.
- Surface hydrophobicity
is maintained over a long period. This
is very valuable in a polluted environment.
- Excellent performance
in highly polluted environments.
- Excellent flame/arc
resistance.
- Highly resistant
to chemical and UV rays.
- Compact weight
and light weight(Approx 25-30% of ceramic
insulators.)
- Metal end fittings
as per requirement to end applications.
- High tensile
strength FRP pultruded rod ensures excellent
mechanical strength to an isolation system.
- A central rod
of fibre rein-forced polymer composite
- A housing made
from a special tracking polymer. This housing
provides protection against environmental
factors like pollution, heat, humidity
and UV resistance.
